Project Overview
The Princeton Digital Group (PDG) MU1 Data Center Campus is a flagship hyperscale digital infrastructure development located in Airoli, Navi Mumbai, India's leading data center hub. Designed to deliver up to 150 MW of critical IT power, the campus spans approximately 35,600 square meters of whitespace within a well-planned 50-acre IT and ITES park. Purpose-built to support hyperscale cloud providers, global content platforms, financial services, e-commerce companies, and next-generation artificial intelligence workloads, MU1 offers highly scalable, resilient, and secure infrastructure for mission-critical digital operations. The campus is recognized as India's first Open Compute Project (OCP™) Ready data center and Mumbai's first IGBC Platinum-certified data center campus, demonstrating its commitment to innovation, energy efficiency, and sustainable design. It supports high-density rack deployments through advanced cooling systems, a generous 5.5-meter slab-to-slab clear height, and heavy floor loading capacity of up to 1,750 kilograms per square meter, making it suitable for GPU-intensive AI and high-performance computing environments. Power is delivered through a dedicated 220 kV substation with diverse utility feeds and fully redundant electrical infrastructure to ensure maximum availability and operational resilience. Sustainability is further strengthened by renewable energy procurement, with up to 40% of the campus power requirement supported through clean energy contracts and time-matched carbon-free energy partnerships with Tata Power Renewables.
