Status: Active Operation / Phased Multi-Phase Expansion | Location: 6980 FM 709, Corsicana, TX 75110, USA
The Project Ditto – Riot Corsicana Data Center is a gigawatt-scale, high-density data center and Bitcoin mining campus located at 6980 FM 709, Corsicana, Texas 75110, USA. Owned and operated by Riot Platforms, Inc., the 265-acre facility represents one of the largest dedicated high-density computing infrastructure sites in North America and is designed to accommodate substantial growth in both digital asset mining and advanced computing workloads. The campus is planned for an ultimate capacity of 1.0 GW (1,000 MW), providing a significant electrical and computing platform capable of supporting large-scale, energy-intensive operations. Its direct connection to the ERCOT grid is enabled through an on-site 345kV high-voltage substation, constructed in partnership with Navarro County Electric Cooperative and Oncor Electric Delivery, establishing the electrical infrastructure required for the campus’s substantial power demand. The facility incorporates specialized immersion cooling and direct-to-chip liquid cooling architectures, allowing high-density computing equipment to operate efficiently while supporting increasingly demanding thermal management requirements. The site is primarily associated with Riot’s proprietary Bitcoin mining fleets, while its infrastructure is also designed to accommodate high-density artificial intelligence (AI) and High-Performance Computing (HPC) colocation workloads. This combination creates a flexible computing environment capable of serving both cryptocurrency mining and emerging AI infrastructure requirements. With its large land footprint, gigawatt-scale capacity, dedicated high-voltage electrical infrastructure, and advanced liquid-cooling capabilities, Project Ditto demonstrates the convergence of cryptocurrency mining and next-generation high-performance computing within large-scale digital infrastructure campuses. Its location in Corsicana also provides access to the broader Texas power and connectivity ecosystem, supporting the continued expansion of energy-intensive computing applications.
