Project Overview

The QTS Atlanta Metro Data Center Campus is a flagship hyperscale and colocation facility located in downtown Atlanta, Georgia, spanning more than 95 acres and delivering up to 275 MW of critical IT power. As one of the largest interconnected digital infrastructure campuses in the Southeastern United States, it comprises multiple state-of-the-art facilities, including Atlanta 1 (DC1) and the approximately 495,000 square foot Atlanta 2 (DC2), with ample room for future expansion. The campus is purpose-built to support hyperscale cloud providers, enterprise IT environments, financial institutions, content delivery networks, and artificial intelligence workloads requiring highly resilient and scalable infrastructure. Power is supplied through two dedicated on-site substations operated by Georgia Power, providing reliable utility access and redundant electrical architecture to ensure continuous operations. Advanced cooling systems are designed to support high-density computing environments while maintaining exceptional energy efficiency and operational performance. The campus also serves as a major connectivity hub, offering more than 2,000 cross-connects and direct fiber access to over 80 network service providers, enabling low-latency connectivity, carrier diversity, and seamless interconnection with regional, national, and global networks.
