Rackspace London 3, or LON3, is a 10 MW operational data center facility at 115 Buckingham Avenue on the Slough Trading Estate in Slough, United Kingdom, serving as Rackspace’s primary UK managed cloud and enterprise colocation hub in the West London corridor. The facility spans 65,340 gross sq ft and provides 5,000 m² of technical space, supporting high-availability enterprise, multi-cloud, and managed hosting workloads that require resilient infrastructure and dependable connectivity. Its location within the established Slough data center cluster provides access to a concentrated digital infrastructure ecosystem and connectivity routes serving London and wider UK markets. LON3 uses N+1 power redundancy supported by 33 no-break rotary diesel UPS sets, providing continuous power protection for critical IT equipment and helping maintain operations during electrical disturbances. The cooling infrastructure incorporates N+3 redundancy with dry-cooled chillers, providing additional thermal resilience for customer environments while using an air-based heat rejection approach. The facility is powered by 100% renewable grid power, supporting Rackspace’s electricity strategy and customer sustainability requirements. Dual Meet-Me-Rooms provide dedicated environments for network interconnection, while low-latency dark fiber access to London’s primary network exchanges supports responsive connectivity for cloud platforms, enterprise networks, managed services, and data-intensive applications. The combination of 10 MW of IT capacity, resilient rotary UPS systems, redundant cooling, renewable grid power, and diverse connectivity gives LON3 a broad infrastructure base for managed hosting and colocation requirements. Its role within Rackspace’s UK portfolio also supports customers operating multi-cloud and enterprise workloads that depend on consistent network access and high availability. Located within the West London corridor, the facility combines established technical infrastructure with proximity to London’s major digital and
