Serverfarm London LON1 Data Center: 11.4MW AI-Ready Colocation Hub Feltham UK
Status: Fully Operational Enterprise, Cloud & AI Colocation Hub | Location: Unit 4, Westgate Estate, Staines Road, Feltham TW14 8RS, London, United Kingdom
Project Overview
Serverfarm LON1 is a modern 11.4 MW carrier-neutral data center strategically located in Feltham, West London, offering a highly resilient and scalable digital infrastructure platform within one of Europe's most important connectivity markets. Positioned close to Heathrow Airport and along the western London data center corridor linking Slough and Docklands, the facility provides excellent access to major telecommunications networks, cloud platforms, financial institutions, and enterprise customers throughout the United Kingdom and continental Europe. LON1 became part of Serverfarm's expanding European portfolio following its acquisition in 2018 and was extensively modernized through the company's sustainable adaptive reuse strategy, transforming an existing enterprise facility into a state-of-the-art data center while significantly reducing construction-related environmental impact and accelerating deployment timelines. Managed through Serverfarm's InCommand™ Data Center Management as a Service (DMaaS) platform, the facility leverages intelligent automation, real-time infrastructure monitoring, predictive analytics, and centralized operational management to improve efficiency, optimize energy consumption, and maximize asset performance. Designed to support mission-critical enterprise applications, hybrid cloud deployments, hyperscale cloud environments, artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning, and high-performance computing (HPC), LON1 offers flexible high-density rack configurations with readiness for advanced liquid cooling technologies to accommodate next-generation GPU-intensive workloads. The campus incorporates resilient utility power infrastructure, redundant electrical distribution systems, backup generators, energy-efficient cooling architecture, intelligent building management systems, and advanced fire detection and suppression technologies to ensure continuous operational availability. Multi-layer physical security, including controlled access, 24/7 surveillance, and on-site operational support, safeguards customer environments. As a carrier-neutral facility, LON1 provides access to multiple telecommunications providers, diverse fiber routes, internet exchanges, and direct cloud connectivity, enabling low-latency hybrid and multi-cloud deployments. By combining sustainable redevelopment, AI-ready infrastructure, intelligent operations, strategic connectivity, and resilient engineering, Serverfarm LON1 serves as a key digital infrastructure asset supporting enterprise transformation and next-generation cloud computing across the United Kingdom and Europe.
