Sify Hyderabad Fab City: 250MW NVIDIA-Certified AI Giga-Campus
Status: Active Expansion / Phased Commissioning (April 2026) | Location: Fab City industrial zone
Project Overview
As of April 2026, Sify’s Hyderabad 02 campus in Fab City has emerged as a cornerstone of the broader Telangana AI corridor, reflecting the region’s rapid rise as one of India’s most important destinations for next-generation digital infrastructure. Technically, the site is among the few facilities in India to hold NVIDIA DGX-Ready certification, indicating that it has been specifically engineered to meet the demanding operational standards required for advanced AI deployments. The campus is designed to support ultra-high-density workloads of up to 200 kW per rack, making it well suited for large GPU clusters, accelerated computing environments, and frontier-scale model training. This capability places the facility in a select category of data centers prepared for modern large language model development and enterprise AI inference workloads. The site is now undergoing a major expansion funded through Sify Infinit Spaces’ $407 million IPO, with plans for two additional towers that would increase the total campus capacity to 250 MW. Its location in Fab City is strategically valuable due to dense fiber connectivity, access to key carrier routes, and close proximity to Hyderabad’s Nanakramguda Financial District, a major concentration of technology and financial enterprises. Sify has also contracted 231 MW of renewable energy to power its fleet, helping ensure the Fab City expansion aligns with sustainability targets and India’s growing sovereign AI ambitions.
