Project Overview

Stream DC Graham Campus, code-named Project Saltworks, is a proposed 867-acre mega hyperscale data center development located along Farm-to-Market Road 61 south of Lake Graham in Young County, Texas. Proposed by Headwaters Site Development, an affiliate of Stream Data Centers, the master-planned campus is designed to support the development of up to 15 data center buildings alongside dedicated electrical substations and purpose-built supporting infrastructure. The scale of the site provides a large development footprint for phased expansion and positions the project to accommodate substantial long-term demand for cloud computing, enterprise infrastructure, artificial intelligence, and other high-density digital workloads. The initial development plan includes 164 MW of grid interconnection capacity, providing the electrical foundation required for high-performance computing environments and future campus expansion. The campus incorporates closed-loop sustainable cooling systems designed to support operational efficiency while reducing reliance on continuous water consumption for cooling operations. Redundant dark fiber interconnects are also planned to provide diverse connectivity pathways for data center tenants, cloud platforms, telecommunications networks, and other digital infrastructure providers. Environmental considerations form an important component of the master plan, with nearly half of the 867-acre property designated for undisturbed natural vegetation. This land-use approach is intended to limit the project's environmental footprint while maintaining substantial areas of existing vegetation across the wider campus. The combination of a large development area, planned multi-building capacity, dedicated power infrastructure, sustainable cooling systems, and redundant fiber connectivity creates a framework for a hyperscale data center campus capable of supporting evolving computing requirements. Its location in Young County also provides an alternative development setting within the broader North Texas data center ecosystem, where large-scale land availability and access to critical infrastructure can support future digital capacity requirements.
