Project Overview

The Vantage QC24 Data Center is a major hyperscale cloud and enterprise colocation facility located within the Vantage QC2 Québec City Campus in Québec City, Québec, Canada. Situated at 2675 Boulevard du Parc Technologique in the Parc Technologique du Québec métropolitain, the campus spans approximately 30 acres, or 12 hectares, and forms part of a broader development representing more than CAD $500 million in planned investment. QC24 is one component of a four-building campus master plan engineered to provide up to 86 MW of total critical IT load, with the facility itself delivering 32 MW of critical power across approximately 90,000 square feet, or more than 8,360 square meters, of gross facility space. Designed around Tier III-equivalent high-availability principles, the data center is engineered to support enterprise, hyperscale cloud and increasingly demanding artificial intelligence workloads. Its electrical architecture incorporates dual 2N distribution paths, static UPS systems and N+2 emergency generation to strengthen resilience and maintain continuity during power disruptions or maintenance activities. The facility also benefits from Québec’s predominantly renewable hydroelectric electricity supply, providing a low-carbon energy foundation for large-scale digital infrastructure operations. Closed-loop chilled-water cooling systems support efficient thermal management while providing the capacity required for high-density computing environments. The Québec City location also places QC24 within an established technology and telecommunications ecosystem, supporting connectivity to regional and national digital infrastructure networks. With substantial critical capacity, resilient electrical systems, advanced cooling infrastructure and access to renewable electricity, Vantage QC24 strengthens Québec City’s position as an important destination for hyperscale cloud, enterprise colocation and AI infrastructure.
