Viettel Bình Dương Data Center: Tier III Enterprise & Cloud Hub in Vietnam

Status: Fully Operational / Active Phased Modernization   |   Location: Viettel IDC Building, DT743 Street, Binh Hoa Ward 75000 Ho Chi Minh Vietnam

Project Overview

Viettel IDC’s Bình Dương Data Center is a strategically located Tier III digital infrastructure facility serving Vietnam’s southern key economic region, positioned adjacent to Ho Chi Minh City to provide resilient, high-performance colocation and connectivity services for enterprises and public-sector organizations. Delivering 8 MW of critical IT capacity across more than 1,600 server cabinets, the facility is purpose-built to support multinational corporations, cloud service providers, financial institutions, telecommunications operators, government agencies, and organizations running mission-critical applications. Engineered in accordance with ANSI/TIA-942 Rated 3 standards, the data center incorporates highly resilient N+1 and 2(N+1) electrical and cooling redundancy, ensuring continuous operations, high availability, and business continuity for demanding workloads. The facility also features hot- and cold-aisle containment, optimized airflow management, and support for high-density rack deployments, enabling efficient operation of modern enterprise and cloud infrastructure. As a carrier-neutral interconnection hub, Bình Dương Data Center provides low-latency fiber connectivity to major domestic telecommunications networks, internet exchanges, cloud platforms, and Vietnam’s international subsea cable landing stations, enabling seamless regional and global connectivity. Supported by advanced physical security systems, 24/7 infrastructure monitoring, intelligent building management, and scalable colocation solutions, the facility serves as a critical digital gateway that enables cloud adoption, enterprise modernization, disaster recovery, and digital transformation across Vietnam and the broader Southeast Asian market.
