Web Werks Iron Mountain 85MW AI-Enabled Greenfield Data Center Campus, Rabale
Status: Under Construction (Substructure & Excavation Work in Progress as of mid-2026) | Location: TTC Industrial Area, Rabale, Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra - 400701.
Project Overview
Spread across approximately 4.78 acres in the strategic industrial hub of Rabale, Navi Mumbai, the Web Werks–Iron Mountain data center campus is one of India's major next-generation digital infrastructure developments. With a planned gross built-up area of nearly 1.48 million square feet, the campus has been designed to support the rapidly growing demand for hyperscale cloud services, artificial intelligence (AI), high-performance computing (HPC), and enterprise digital transformation. Its location within the Mumbai metropolitan region provides excellent access to the country's largest financial and telecommunications ecosystem, making it an important destination for global technology companies and large enterprises. The facility is being developed through the strategic joint venture between Web Werks and Iron Mountain Data Centers, combining local market expertise with global data center design, construction, and operational experience. The multi-story campus consists of two purpose-built data center buildings engineered to accommodate the increasing infrastructure requirements of modern AI applications, including GPU-intensive training clusters, large-scale inference platforms, and other compute-heavy workloads. The buildings are designed with scalable power systems, advanced cooling infrastructure, and resilient engineering standards to support high-density deployments while maintaining operational reliability.
