Yondr Group LON2 Slough Data Center: 30MW Hyperscale & AI Hub
Status: Under Development / Active Phased Construction | Location: Slough Trading Estate Area, Slough, Berkshire, SL1 4DX, United Kingdom
Project Overview
Yondr Group’s LON2 AI Data Center Campus is a flagship hyperscale facility strategically located in Slough, West London, one of Europe’s most established and highly connected data center markets. Delivering 30 MW of critical IT capacity, the campus is purpose-built to support global hyperscale cloud providers, over-the-top (OTT) content platforms, financial institutions, telecommunications operators, and enterprises deploying artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), and high-performance computing (HPC) workloads. Designed for next-generation computing environments, LON2 offers flexible high-density rack configurations and integrated liquid cooling readiness, enabling customers to efficiently deploy GPU-intensive AI infrastructure while maintaining optimal thermal performance. The campus operates on 100% certified renewable electricity and incorporates ultra-efficient closed-loop chilled water cooling systems, low-carbon construction materials, and low-emission backup power technologies to reduce environmental impact while maintaining exceptional operational resilience. Engineered with highly redundant electrical and mechanical infrastructure, the facility delivers the availability and scalability required for mission-critical digital operations. Located within Slough’s dense optical fiber ecosystem, LON2 provides carrier-neutral connectivity with low-latency access to London’s financial district, major internet exchanges, cloud availability zones, and international subsea cable networks linking Europe with North America, the Middle East, and Asia. Supported by advanced physical security, continuous infrastructure monitoring, and energy-efficient operations, LON2 serves as a future-ready platform for cloud expansion, AI innovation, and sustainable digital transformation across the United Kingdom and Europe.
