AVAIO Digital and Schneider Electric Join Forces to Build AI-Optimized Data Centers Across the U.S.

Stamford, Connecticut, September 3, 2025- AVAIO Digital Partners has announced a strategic collaboration with Schneider Electric to build four new AI-ready data center campuses in the United States. This move aims to provide advanced, sustainable infrastructure capable of supporting the growing demand for AI workloads and cloud computing services.

Under the partnership, AVAIO has secured early procurement of critical electrical equipment from Schneider Electric, including switchgear, power distribution units, uninterruptible power supplies, and chillers.

The campuses are designed for GPU-intensive AI training and inference, with racks capable of supporting up to 300 kW each, ensuring that the facilities can handle high-density computing requirements for next-generation AI applications.

Sustainability is a core focus of the project. Schneider Electric’s equipment follows EcoDesign principles, which reduce carbon emissions and operational energy use. The partnership also integrates predictive maintenance and data-driven analytics, helping to maximize uptime, optimize equipment performance, and extend lifespan, aligning with both companies’ commitment to environmentally responsible operations.

“Our collaboration with AVAIO Digital is focused on enabling customers to deploy their critical IT infrastructure rapidly at the heart of a new generation of data center campuses that uniquely address the needs of AI. We share a common vision of placing energy efficiency and reliability at the core of our approach to customers and look forward to deepening our collaboration as AVAIO’s footprint grows,” said Vandana Singh, Senior Vice President of Data Center Business at Schneider Electric.

In addition to Schneider Electric, AVAIO has partnered with other manufacturers for long-lead items such as generators and high-voltage substation breakers. The company has committed over USD 200 million for these equipment deliveries over the next 18 months, signalling a major investment in building a robust, resilient data center network.

This collaboration will enable AVAIO Digital to address the growing demand for large-scale AI projects that have unique power and cooling requirements, with a focus on speed to market to meet customers’ increasing need for capacity.”

Construction of the four campuses is scheduled to begin later this year, with the goal of bringing the first energized facilities online by 2026. The sites, located in Northern California, Virginia, Arkansas, and Mississippi, collectively secure over 1.2 GW of power capacity.

The initiative is part of AVAIO’s broader expansion strategy in the U.S. and Europe, aiming to provide reliable and scalable AI-ready infrastructure for hyperscale, wholesale, and build-to-suit clients.

As AI continues to drive massive growth in data processing needs, AVAIO Digital’s expansion underscores its role as a key player in building sustainable, high-performance digital infrastructure across the U.S., providing both efficiency and reliability for the AI era.
