Jiexpo, Jakarta, October 30, 2025- Inspur today showcased its latest prefabricated modular data centre technologies at the Indonesia International Data Center & Cloud Computing Summit, underscoring the country’s rising importance as a regional hub for digital infrastructure. The company said the new lineup aims to help local operators scale capacity faster and with lower energy use as data demand surges across Southeast Asia.
Inspur introduced a suite of prefabricated modular cabins designed for rapid on-site assembly, along with an integrated air-liquid cooling station, an all-in-one power module, a busbar system, an intelligent management platform, and micro-module solutions. The company said these systems were built to shorten construction time and improve efficiency for data centres operating in tropical climates like Indonesia’s.
“Inspur is committed to supporting Indonesia’s growing digital economy by providing sustainable, high-efficiency data-centre solutions,” the company said in its statement. “Our prefabricated modular approach enables faster deployment and greater flexibility while maintaining high reliability and energy efficiency.”
Analysts say the focus on modularity reflects a wider shift among global infrastructure providers toward flexible construction models that can adapt to varying regional energy and connectivity conditions. Indonesia has become one of Southeast Asia’s fastest-expanding digital markets, with government-backed initiatives encouraging local cloud infrastructure investment and data sovereignty.
Industry observers note that Inspur’s push aligns with the region’s demand for data-centre scalability, driven by rising cloud adoption and AI workloads. Prefabricated systems, which can be assembled offsite and transported in complete sections, have gained popularity for reducing build time and simplifying maintenance, particularly in markets with challenging logistics or power constraints.
The Indonesia International Data Center & Cloud Computing Summit (IIDCC) runs from October 28 to 30 in Jakarta, drawing technology vendors, hyperscalers, and local infrastructure operators. Inspur’s presentation marks its latest engagement in Southeast Asia, following similar showcases in Vietnam and Thailand earlier this year.
