The development, shared via LinkedIn, outlines the integration of Lunar Digital’s management and infrastructure capabilities with Asanti’s existing portfolio of six UK data centers, creating an immediate nationwide platform for scaling AI and high-performance computing workloads.
Under the agreement, Lunar Digital’s leadership team will take operational control of the combined platform, applying its experience in designing and managing infrastructure optimized for modern compute demands. The move is intended to accelerate the deployment of AI-focused and edge-ready facilities, particularly those supporting latency-sensitive inference workloads.
Asanti’s network, spanning key UK locations, provides Lunar Digital with expanded geographic reach into regions where it previously had limited presence. This distributed footprint is expected to play a central role in enabling regionalized compute, allowing AI workloads to be processed closer to end users while improving performance and resilience.
