Las Vegas, United States - March 23, 2026 - Siemens unveiled a new suite of industrial artificial intelligence technologies and expanded its partnership with NVIDIA to accelerate the development of an “industrial AI operating system,” aimed at transforming manufacturing and infrastructure operations.

The announcement, made at CES 2026, introduces a broader push by Siemens to embed AI across the entire industrial lifecycle, from design and engineering to production and supply chain operations. The company said the initiative will enable businesses to simulate, optimize, and automate complex physical systems using AI-driven digital models.

As part of the expansion, Siemens and NVIDIA will collaborate to build an integrated AI platform that combines industrial software with high-performance computing capabilities. The system is designed to support continuous optimization of industrial processes through real-time data analysis and digital twin simulations, allowing companies to test and implement improvements more efficiently.

Siemens also introduced new technologies, including its Digital Twin Composer software and a series of industrial AI copilots, aimed at improving productivity and decision-making across factory operations and engineering workflows. These tools are expected to enable faster innovation cycles and more resilient production systems.

Chief Executive Officer Roland Busch emphasized the scale of the shift, stating that industrial AI is becoming a foundational force across industries, enabling companies to anticipate issues, reduce costs, and accelerate development timelines.

The companies plan to apply the platform to develop fully AI-driven manufacturing environments, with the first implementation expected at Siemens’ electronics factory in Erlangen, Germany. The facility will serve as a blueprint for future deployments, where AI systems continuously analyze operations and automatically implement improvements.

The announcement reflects a broader industry transition toward AI-native industrial systems, where software, automation, and compute infrastructure are increasingly integrated. While the initiative is focused on manufacturing and industrial environments, it highlights the growing convergence between AI software platforms and the high-performance computing ecosystems that underpin them.
