Washington, D.C., United States - April 20, 2026 - STL has launched its flagship “Neuralis” data center connectivity portfolio in the United States, targeting the growing demands of AI-driven and hyperscale computing environments.
The launch, announced by its U.S. subsidiary STL Optical Connectivity NA, took place at Data Center World 2026 in Washington, D.C., marking a strategic push to expand the company’s presence in North America’s rapidly evolving digital infrastructure market.
Neuralis is designed as an integrated connectivity platform to support modern data centers, where high-performance computing workloads require ultra-fast, low-latency data transmission. The portfolio addresses the increasing complexity of AI infrastructure, particularly the need for efficient data movement across large-scale GPU clusters and distributed systems.
The solution suite is structured around two core components. The first focuses on maximizing data center “whitespace” through ultra-high-density fiber cabling systems, enabling operators to support significantly higher fiber counts while optimizing physical space. By shifting cable termination processes to factory environments, the platform reduces on-site installation complexity and accelerates deployment timelines.
The second component centers on high-speed data center interconnect (DCI), providing the optical backbone required to transfer large volumes of data across campuses and networks. The offering includes advanced cable technologies capable of supporting thousands of fiber connections within compact formats, addressing the bandwidth and scalability requirements of AI workloads.
The launch reflects a broader shift in data center architecture, as AI applications drive a transition from traditional north-south traffic patterns to more intensive east-west data flows within facilities. This change is placing increased pressure on internal connectivity systems, making high-density optical infrastructure a critical enabler of performance and efficiency.
STL emphasized that Neuralis has been developed in collaboration with customers to address real-world challenges such as space constraints, deployment speed, and rising power and thermal demands. The company’s vertically integrated manufacturing model, spanning fiber production, cabling, and connectorization, supports tighter quality control and faster time to market.
The introduction of Neuralis also highlights STL’s efforts to position itself as a key connectivity partner for hyperscale operators and emerging “neocloud” providers building AI infrastructure in the United States. With manufacturing capabilities in South Carolina, the company aims to deliver locally produced solutions tailored to the needs of the U.S. market.
As demand for AI-ready infrastructure continues to accelerate, the launch underscores the growing importance of advanced optical connectivity in enabling scalable, high-performance data center environments.
