Columbus, Ohio, United States - April 13, 2026 - Vertiv has announced the acquisition of BMarko Structures, a U.S.-based provider of custom-engineered structural fabrication, in a move aimed at strengthening its capacity to deliver manufactured and prefabricated infrastructure solutions for next-generation data centers.

The acquisition integrates BMarko’s structural fabrication expertise into Vertiv’s infrastructure solutions business in North America, enabling the company to bring critical engineering and manufacturing capabilities in-house. The deal is expected to enhance Vertiv’s ability to deliver scalable, high-performance infrastructure solutions with greater speed, customization, and operational control.

BMarko specializes in custom-built structures, including steel and wood frameworks tailored for data center environments and other complex infrastructure applications. Founded in 2014 and headquartered in South Carolina, the company recently expanded its engineering and fabrication facility to approximately 560,000 square feet, positioning it to support large-scale deployments.

The acquisition comes as demand for AI-driven infrastructure accelerates, placing increased pressure on providers to deliver faster deployment timelines and more flexible, high-density solutions. Vertiv stated that integrating BMarko’s capabilities will help address these challenges by enhancing supply chain control and facilitating tighter coordination across design, engineering, and manufacturing processes.

Company leadership emphasized that the move aligns with evolving customer requirements for rapid capacity deployment and greater efficiency across the infrastructure layer. As artificial intelligence workloads continue to scale, data center operators are seeking more integrated and modular approaches to construction, reducing time-to-market while maintaining performance and reliability.

BMarko has previously collaborated with Vertiv on multiple projects, providing a foundation for integration and operational alignment. By bringing these capabilities in-house, Vertiv aims to enhance execution consistency and support increasingly complex infrastructure demands tied to hyperscale and AI data center growth.

Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

The acquisition reflects a broader trend in the data center industry, where companies are investing in vertical integration and prefabrication capabilities to accelerate deployment and improve scalability. As infrastructure requirements grow more complex, particularly with the rise of AI workloads, such strategies are becoming critical to maintaining competitive advantage and meeting global demand.
