New Delhi, India - February 08, 2026 - Anant Raj Limited’s digital infrastructure arm, Anant Raj Cloud, has entered into a strategic partnership with Spain-based AI infrastructure provider Submer Technologies to accelerate the development of AI-ready data centers across India, the companies said. The collaboration was formalized through a memorandum of understanding (MoU) signed at the India AI Impact Summit 2026 in New Delhi.

Under the agreement, Anant Raj Cloud and Submer will jointly pursue the deployment of modular, high-density data center facilities equipped to handle intensive artificial intelligence and enterprise workloads. The partners said the facilities will combine advanced modular design with liquid-cooling technology to deliver energy-efficient infrastructure suited for sovereign and commercial AI computing at scale.

Rapid growth in AI workloads requires new approaches to data center design and deployment,” said Amit Sarin, Managing Director of Anant Raj Limited. “Our partnership with Submer will help bring sustainable, scalable, and high-performance data center infrastructure to India, supporting national objectives for digital transformation and data sovereignty.”

Submer will contribute its modular infrastructure platforms and liquid-cooling expertise from Spain. At the same time, Anant Raj will leverage its existing real estate and development capabilities to establish facilities in key Indian markets.  Submer’s liquid-cooling solutions are designed to support high-density rack environments with enhanced thermal management, significantly improving power usage effectiveness (PUE) and reducing overall energy consumption.

Patrick Smets, Chief Executive Officer of Submer, said combining Submer’s technology with Anant Raj’s footprint will accelerate the deployment of AI-ready compute capacity in India. “This partnership brings together complementary strengths to deliver data center solutions that meet the performance, efficiency, and sustainability requirements of next-generation AI workloads,” Smets said.

The MoU comes amid India’s broader push to scale domestic data center capacity and digital infrastructure as enterprises and cloud providers expand their presence in the country. Anant Raj’s existing data center portfolio includes facilities in Manesar and Panchkula in Haryana, and the company has been investing in larger utility-grade infrastructure to keep pace with rising demand for cloud, enterprise, and AI computing resources.

Industry analysts said the partnership reflects a growing trend in specialized data center investment tied to artificial intelligence, where operators seek modular, energy-responsive solutions that can be deployed rapidly and cost-effectively. Liquid-cooling technology, in particular, is seen as a key enabler for high-density AI racks that push the limits of traditional air-cooled designs.

The collaboration also aligns with government policy initiatives that aim to bolster India’s technology infrastructure, including incentives for digital infrastructure investment and the creation of AI ecosystem frameworks that promote local data sovereignty and compute autonomy.

Both companies said they plan to begin site identification and detailed engineering design in the coming weeks, with rollout of the first facilities expected to begin later in 2026. The pace of deployment will be tied to regulatory approvals, power availability, and connectivity build-outs in target locations.
